유엔산업개발기구 한국투자진흥사무소(이하 UNIDO ITPO Korea)의 신맹호 대표는 금월 7일부터 12일까지 아랍에미리트 두바이에서 개최된 ITPO Heads Meeting and Annual Investment Meeting(AIM)에 참석하였습니다.
ITPO 대표 회의에서 신맹호 대표는 UNIDO 사무차장인 Ms. Fatou Haidara, ITP 부서장인 Mr. Weixi Gong 및 기타 모든 ITPO 대표들을 대상으로 소개 세션을 가졌습니다.
모든 참석자들은 ITPO 네트워크 전체의 통합 전략을 논의하고 각 사무소의 주요 사안과 우선순위를 공유했으며, UNIDO 내 타 사업부서들의 핵심기능 및 본부의 사업 평가 체제 공유하는 세션도 열렸습니다. 특히 ITPO Korea는 향후 협력 분야를 모색하기 위해 각 ITPO와 양자 및 삼자 협의를 진행하였습니다. 이어서 두바이 세계자유구역기구(WFZO) 및 국제금융센터(DIFC)를 방문하여 미팅을 진행했습니다.
아울러, 신맹호 대표는 Annual Investment Meeting (AIM)에서 진행되는 다양한 세션에 참가했습니다. 주요 세션으로는 글로벌 리더 토론 "미래 패러다임 전환: 지속 가능한 경제 성장, 다양성 및 번영을 촉진하기 위한 미래 투자 기회"UNIDO-AIM 고위급 세션인 "산업화 및 스마트 제조 투자 특별 세션: 산업부분 재정지원” 등이 있었습니다.
Abu Dhabi and Dubai, 7-12 May 2023
Maengho Shin, Head of UNIDO ITPO Korea, attended the ITPO Heads Meeting and Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) which took place in United Arab Emirates from 7 to 12 May 2023.
During the ITPO Heads Meeting, Mr. Shin had an introduction session for Ms. Fatou Haidara, Deputy to the Director General and Managing Director, Mr. Weixi Gong, Chief of ITP Division and all the other ITPO Heads. ITPO Heads discussed strategies on how to integrate the ITPO network as a whole and shared each office’s highlights and priorities.
Furthermore, a session was held to share the core functions of selected Technical Divisions of UNIDO and information on UNIDO HQs’ up-to-date planning and reporting system. Additionally, ITPO Korea had bilateral and trilateral discussions with respective ITPOs to explore future collaboration areas. It was followed by site visits and individual meetings with local counterparts, such as World Free Zone Organization (WFZO) and Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
Mr. Shin also participated in a wide range of side events which were organized within the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) 2023, including the Global Leaders Debate themed “the Future Paradigm Shift: Future Investment Opportunities to Foster Sustainable Economic Growth, Diversity and Prosperities”, the UNIDO-AIM high-level session “Industrialization & Smart Manufacturing Investment Special Session: Mobilizing Finance to the Industrial Sector”. ITPO Korea built networks and exchanged ideas for cooperation with the participating institutes and companies, through visiting relevant booths and sessions.
ITPO Korea will act on the major outcomes and recommendations of the ITPO Heads Meeting and continuously strengthen network with other ITPOs.
ITPO Korea는 AIM 내 관련 부스를 방문하여 참여 기관 및 기업과 네트워크를 구축하고 협력 아이디어를 교환하였습니다. ITPO Korea는 ITPO 대표 회의의 주요 성과 및 권고사항을 지속적으로 이행해 나가고, 타 ITPO와의 네트워크도 지속적으로 강화해 나갈 것 입니다.
